Queen Mulberry

Hi! My name is Susan, and I have laughingly dubbed myself the Queen of the Mulberry Maidens, but, I assure you, it's not because I feel superior to anyone else or anything like that. Oh my! Wouldn't that be ridiculous?!

Here's a little about me (thanks for wondering!):

I am 30 years old and I am quite content about being this age. I am happily married to an amazing man. Together we have two sons and a sweet baby girl, and boy, oh boy, do these kids keep me on my feet! My family is a constant source of joy for me, and I am learning and growing with them more and more everyday. My life is full, and a true blessing. God has - indeed - been very good to me, and to Him I give all praise and glory and thanks.

"The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance." Psalm 16:6

That verse is just perfect, isn't it? I have always loved it, and even memorized it, but a recent visitor to my blog reminded me of it and I will be forever grateful.

If you're wondering what I look like, well, look no further! Here's a silly picture of me looking like I usually do everyday while I'm doing my job at home - hair pulled up in a mess, dress (if not pajama or yoga pants) and apron on, minimal makeup, a little bit of lace or pearls, and a camera in hand (though this is getting to be less and less true all of the time the more full my hands get!). If you click on this image it gets so large that you can see all of my freckles. And what could be more awesome than that??? Sigh...

I also have another blog you might find suits your taste. It's a blog about things that I find beautiful, whether they be material or immaterial things.

"Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things." Philippians 4:8

My other blog, Whatsoever Things Are Beautiful, does its best to focus on those things which are lovely and beautiful.

If you ever have any questions for me, feel free to email me anytime at theshoppeowner@gmail.com or simply leave a comment on one of my posts. I always do my best to respond to emails and reader comments!

Blessings,
Susan
